My daisies are blooming beautifully now. However, I was wondering if anyone out there knows if I am to cut back the dead blooms after they die. I was told not to cut them all off in the heat of the summer, because it stresses the plants too much & they will tend to bloom only small puny daisies. Does anyone know ?
Thanks,
Linda in Ponder

Cutting off spent flowers & even cutting back the plants somewhat to prevent them from becoming leggy will keep your daisies healthy & beautiful.

Just don't let your trees overtake them & put them in the shade!
(This is just something I know, okay???)

Thanks so much for the response! A few flowers are already past their prime, so I will plan to cut them back. And they are in full sun, so that should make them happy. Right?
Thanks, again!

My daisies were beat down by heavy rains & now look dead. Does anyone know if I should cut the whole bed of daisies back? I think I should have thinned them last fall...
