Does anyone know any retail nurseries in the Dallas area where you can purchase a small amount of buffalo grass seed? By small amount I mean 1/2 - 1lb. I know there are some wholesale places where you can buy 20 lbs --- but I just want to try it in a small problem area. Any help is appreciated!

Just type in wildflower seed into google and you get MANY choices. Here is one place that I have ordered from in the past and they sale 1 packet to 50+ pounds of Buffalo Grass seed - good luck with this stuff.

Here is another source for seeds. What size area are you trying to plant? Sod is much more effective then seed but more expensive. I have close to a 1/2 acre in sod and it's doing great.
