Hi,

My hibiscus (tropical variety) has great deep green leaves and when it blooms it looks great, but occasionally I will get individual leaves that turn completely yellow, and buds that are a couple of days from blooming will fall off.

I am thinking they are too dry, what is the preferred watering method for them? I do a foliar feed with seaweed every Sunday evening, they are in full sun and are mulched with native cedar mulch.

thanks,
tom

Sounds like you may be overwatering, or the soil isnt draining. Is it in the ground or in a container?

It is in the ground. After searching around on the internet I think it's just because we had so much shade in April. They seem to have stabilized after we've had sunshine for a couple weeks straight.
