This is a common variety for desert willow. I bought one 5 years ago at an organic nursery and was very satisfied with the tree. I sold the house last year but the tree still looked great.
My backyard was certified by Texas Parks and Wildlife as well at the National Wildlife Federation. I had a lot of bird friendly plants, food and cover but when it comes to attracting hummingbirds, "Bubba" was one of the first plants they would go to.
