I have a jar of Ragu that sat in the fridge toooooo (way tooo!!) long and has now turned into a science experiment. As this has no meat stuffs in it I thought I could add it to the pile. What is ya'lls opinion? Also - has anyone composted cereal boxes, soda boxes etc? I compost plain cardboard boxes but hadn't thought about those until my recylce can filled up four days before trash day.

Thanks a ton!
Christina

The only thing to possibly worry about with the Ragu is if it is one of their oilier sauces...If it is just one of the marinara type sauces, it should not be any problem.
As far as the cardboard boxes are concerne, if you shred them well, you can probably compost them. I run cardboard through a shredder and let my worms eat it.
