I recently heard Howard speak at the ASLA convention in Dallas, and he mentioned an alternative to tree staking that had something to do with tree "staples" - I think. I would like to look into specifying this method in my plans, but I need to read more about it. Where can I find more information?

Here is a previous post about tree staples. I hope it helps.

That's what he described in the seminar, but as a consultant, I need to be able to be more specific with drawings or specifications than is mentioned in any of those replies. Ideally, I would be able to specify "such and such" product from "so and so" supplier. Guess I'll keep looking!
Edit: Found a supplier. http://www.treestaple.com/index.html
