Hello all! I just moved to the Houston area from sunny CA.

We really want to take care of our lawn and vegetable garden organically, but will need some help, since we're new to this climate and its challenges!

Welcome to also "Sunny" Texas and the group of like minded gardeners.

Yes, there will be adjustments to your ideas of gardening and landscaping in Houston for sure. However, you've come to the right forum to gain knowledge for Texas.

Enjoy your stay, make your post questions and don't forget to let us know how things turned out. Also share with us a little bit about what you've found in "Sunny CA".

Thanks zipper!
Yes, Houston has been pretty sunny so far. And when it's not, the thunderstorms are spectacular!
