Is there an organic spray that can be sprayed on furniture to discourage cats from scratching it ? :(

Does your cat have a scratching post in the room?

Actually, our cats have 2 scratching posts. Two of the cats are pretty good about using them, but one will not.

Hopefully someone will have an idea on a spray then. Good luck with this!

I saw this on a google cat forum I believe. You take those plastic runners for office chairs and turn them upside down in front of your furniture to keep the cat from getting close to the furniture. They have plastic nubs to keep them from sliding. When you are home you can just slide them under your couch, I guess.

I've had luck with using double sided tape on the corners of whatever furniture my cat fancies - he does not like getting his paws stuck, and after a few weeks I was able to remove the tape and he didn't bother it again.
