I have a 20' X 27' garden area 540sq' and would like to have some ideas as to how to space my plants. Rows, mounds, distance apart etc......
I will be planting;
Peppers - Banana, jalapeno, Cayenne, and maybe some bells. (I prefer Yellow bells.)
Tomatos preferably Romas and/or cherrie (Maybe some others if anyone has a suggestion)
Zuccini
Radishes[/b]

Capt, I don't know spacing off hand -- I also end up consulting Garrett's book on vegetable gardening in Texas. You may get more responses if you post this question in the Vegetables forum.

Capt.Ron,
My garden is approx the same size as yours, maybe a little bigger. I space my plants just far enough apart to walk between them. I put the tomato cages about 3' apart. That gives me enough room to walk around and water them. The trellis, for the cucs I put on one end close to the edge. since I don't need to get behind it. I train the plants to grow only on the front side. So far it has worked out fine. This year I plan on planting 6 tomato plants, 3 pepper plants. 1 bean plant, 1 pea plant and the rest will be cantalopes.
