I am new at this forum and new at organic gardening. I purchased the glutenmeal for my front and backyard, but there is no spreader setting for how much. It just says 20lbs per 1000 square yards or feet. I have rotary speedy green spreader. Can anyone give me some tips.
thanks,
di

Ck the link above. When I put it out this year, I used the #10 setting. It depends on the product. If it is not full of clumps, it spreads easily. You can do a test with a small area like 10' * 10' (100 sq. ft.) using two pounds of meal to get your spreader set.

Greetings - Within the last week I spread a 50-50 mixture of molasses and CGM (the good messy kind) using a Scott’s SpeedyGreen set at 10. I saw a very nice, even coating of mixture. I’m trusting it will do well.
