Listening to Howards show yesterday, it was mentioned that castor oil or un-chewed gum were successfully used to chase off the rodents. You put the stick of gum in their runway and they either eat it or the smell runs them off.
Maybe someone else will have other ideas they have tried to successfully get rid of them.
