I just bought a 15 foot Sabal palm from Home Depot and would like some opinions on how to prepare the bed.I'm assuming it would be just like any other tree but maybe there are some palm experts out here who can help.

Is it a TEXAS SABAL PALM?

IF so, some claim it's freeze hardy but as the native region is Rio Grande flood plains and resaca banks in Cameron and Hidalgo Counties I don't know I'd fully believe it is hardy up here in N Texas.
