just planted some thornless blackberries near tyler. looking for suggestions for an organic fertilizer, and any advice concerning these varieties of blackberries. thanks

I would use a thick mulch of done or undone compost as my number one choice!

Then you might want to use a slightly acidic tea around the roots made from a few tblsp of apple cider vinegar or powdered sulfur, plus several tblsp of molasses, per gallon of compost tea as a soil drench every 2-3 weeks.

(In other words just make and use Garrett Juice!)

I spread compost around my blackberries and sprayed with garrett juice and within 1-2 days they were growing like crazy!
