Hi! I'm in Wichita Falls (TX), but was dubbed gretagreenthumb while in Montana for 10 years. Rancher friend couldn't believe someone could spend so much time and energy playing in the dirt, with a mere shovel.

I am starting yet another garden (veggie and flower), due to moving. And am not looking forward to all the hard work of getting a plot ready. Last year's place was all hand dug, getting every sprig of Bermuda out! Can't bring myself to do that again. I've been reading about no-till gardening and am intrigued. But, am very hisitant that it will actually stop the Bermuda. Curious what the concenous is on bermuda killing. Advice appreciated. Oh, I have 2 acreas to play in -- probably using at least 1/2 acrea for gardening around the place. Thanks for any advice.

Whatever you do, do not till bermuda or any part of it into the ground! You will never get rid of it if you do!

OK That being said, you can try a product called "Scythe". It is a fatty acid based product that seems to work very well in the battle against bermuda. I have heard some pwople will use one part scythe to one part of the vinegar herbicide recipe which can be found on this site. Good luck to you!
