What sort of soil?

Eastern red cedar is the first thing that springs to mind here.

The soil is primarily clay. I also forgot to mention that I need something that grow tall without a wide spread (3-6') as it will be close to a fence line. I had read about something called "sky rocket juniper" that sounds like it will grow tall with a narrow column shape, but I jave not found anyone that carries them im Tulsa. I also read about the leyland cypress. I don't know either of those would grow well here.
