Excellent! Have you tried that yourself?

I was visualizing a tube of window screen that would let small ants through but keep out reptiles, with a sticky tape suspended in the middle to catch ants. It would need a bait to attract ants to it.

That particular product is very expensive. I found something that sounds similar on Amazon for about 1/3 of the price. Antopia 21C with 2 bait stations and 1 quart liquid ant bait is $39.

im using it now with 6 dispensers on my property. the dispensers work very well and the feeding area is only large enough for small ants to climb into. loving the dispenser so far and very safe. the bait which he recomended i dilute with bottle water at a rate of 1 to 1 (to save on bait used) is working wonders. the ants are all over it and i am seeing a decrease already. ive only had them out since saturday. the recomendation is to keep moving them out towards the edge of the property as the ants population decreases.

the bait is called gourmet ant bait..bout 20$ a bottle found at epet supply out of dallas.

Thanks for the info on the one for 39$ station. Im get one of those as well and give it a try. Yes the ones i bought where expensive. They seem to be very durable and should last for a while. I ended up getting 6 stations and 3 bottles of the bait for 186$ after taxes. Thats seems like alot of money but if it gets these ants under control it will be worth it. The ant guy says keep feeding them thru fall and start early in the spring at the first sign of them. good luck.

Amazon sells the liquid bait for a few dollars less also, but check shipping to see if that balances it out to your local source.
