We pulled out a thicket of thorny locusts on our new lot in DFW. Now new ones are sprouting all over from the spreading leftover roots! They are tough to pull out. Do I have to hand dig and pull each one, or is there an easier way? Do you think working with a backhoe (when we grade the lot) could pull most of those roots out? Thanks

What are you going to do with the area where they are, an open native lot, beds or a lawn? I keep them at bay in my pasture by mowing 2-3 times a year.
