I'm back as hopefully a more vocal member. I'm from Azle ,Texas, love to garden, landscape, and treat my animals and family naturally and organically. I have horses, dogs cats, and have opened a natural pet store and have a grooming shop I'm trying hard to go totally pesticide -free. The hard part is convincing the groomers that fleas and ticks can be treated without pesticides. Glad to be back!

Welcome back! The mind set is not always an easy thing to change. Some are best spoon-fed at first. Once they see treating animals with natural methods really does work, then they will be better for it. Some people do not realize how harmful the pesticides are to the animals and themselves.

I admit that ten years ago, I did not know flea dip was a neurotoxin and harmful to my pets and myself. I never really gave it much thought. I had cats, they had fleas and I knew the fleas were bad for them. I went to my vet and he sold me some poison. I feel awful for putting it on my cats. I thank Howard Garrett for opening my eyes!
