Has any one heard of a ground cover called Bouncing Betty?
This is probably an old name as my friends grandmother had a
type of prolificly growing ground cover called this. I am trying
to find out what is taking over my new garden; weed or ground
cover. If you know what a Bouncing Betty is could you direct
me where to see a picture of it or do you know its Latin name
or more common name?

Location: zone 7, Runnels County
Cmmon name: common soapwort, bouncing bet. Botanical name: Saponaria
officinales.
Type: herbaceous perennial
Growth rate: spreads rapidly.
This info I copied out of "Passalong Plants' by Steve Bender&Felder Rushing
but there is no picture included. It blooms pink/white.
I hope this helped.
