My gerber daisies' leaves are healthy and full but they haven't bloomed at all since spring. I see plants blooming in yards around town. Wonder why these are not?

How much sun are they getting? Are you fertilizing them?

S.Allen-
My daisies have done the same thing-but they are shasta daisies. I read somewhere that I needed to thin them & did that last fall. It helped this spring then one of our hard rains knocked 'em over & they looked really bad & my husband MOWED THEM DOWN! Soooo I'm trying to think positive & maybe this will be a good thing for next year. I'll let you know! But-whole point was, do yours need to be thinned? What I read said if they were too crowded, they MAY bloom only once.

Thanks for the responses sandih and pjva.

Yes, they get lots of sun and we do organic fertilizing. I've used Garrett juice and molasses, we've added green sand, lava sand, molasses, corn meal and mulch to our beds.

It's possible they may need to be spread out some. They are alittle crowded in the area. I'll try that.

I have some shastas, which did real well this year. I have moved some of mine around so much, it's a wonder I have any left. Good luck with yours.
