Can I use a mixture of the AntiFuego Fire Ant Drench to spray on my big golden lab dogs to aid in dealing with the fleas and ticks on them?

If so, do I use the 4-6 ounces in a gallon of water, or another mixture?

No way no how I'm using that on my Boxer. I have used Citrusil Plus Shampoo by Espree.

Last year when we fought an uphill battle with fleas, I succumbed and bought the FrontLine product. It came with three doses. We used only a single dose and never had to use the remaining two doses. Hopefully you can get ahead of the curve and defeat the problem with only natural methods. I don't have any explanation for why we couldn't, but...

Auntie Fuego has molasses and compost tea in it, so if you used it as a dip without rinsing your dog, it could and probably would cause a skin irritation. A mild orange oil & water dip would be a better choice, however any of the herbal or citrus shampoos will kill the fleas & ticks that are on the dog when you apply it. Auntie Fuego is an excellent product but its combined ingredients rule it out as a good tool for this project.

Don't forget and Flea & Tick B-Gone. Used it on my little Yorkie recently when we had a little upsurge in the flea population and it knocked 'em right out without bothering him at all. I also dust him with DE occasionally.

Hope that is helpful. :D
