I've very interested in the assassin bug since I was bitten by one last spring. Being an organic gardener, I immediately identified the bug so I did not panic! These bites can be extremely painful and dangerous. I had no problems with the bite but gardeners need to be cautious even with good bugs.

That's true. Many of the beneficials can bite ot stab. That's how they kill the pest bugs. Even ladybugs can give a painful bite. That doesn't make them dangerous, just don't encourage them to be be on your skin.
