:(

Am going to make the garlic/pepper spray today. How often can/should I spray & should I add orange oil?

Every spring my rose buds are covered with aphids. If you'll wait you will see ladybug larvae which look like tiny black aligators with a couple of orange spots on its back. They will eat all the aphids and get much bigger before they transform into the red/black lady bug we're all familiar with. I never spray my roses for aphids because the lady bugs never let me down. Be patient.

oh, also make sure your roses are healthy and in an organic program. Plants that are sickly or in stress will always attract more pests.
