I have little bitty ants, (sugar ants) in my birdseed feeders hanging in the trees. How do I get rid of them without hurting the birds?

Mat-
Remove the feeder, wash it with soap and water, get your self an "S" hook hanger (or bend a coat hanger), coat it with vaseline and set it out again on a different limb. You might want to try moving it frequently just to make it tougher for the ants to find.
